I am a gravitational-wave astronomer. I am currently a scientist at the Max Planck Institute for Gravitational Physics (Albert Einstein Institute) in Hannover, Germany. I have worked to find and study binary neutron star, neutron star – black hole, and binary black hole mergers through their gravitational-wave signatures. I am a lead developer on the open source PyCBC package which we use to analyze LIGO/Virgo data, detect signals, and study them.
